I’ve always loved when my music teachers played classical music in class, but I’ve come to realize that this is only because they knew which performances and composers were good. I like classical music but I really don’t know about different periods or performers and I’d like to. I like the more dramatic stuff, something that really sweeps me into it – and I tend to like minor songs more than major.

Can anyone help a girl surrounded in pop music and psychedelic rock?

I’m looking for some Classical music which is suitable for nights , I have been listening to some which didn’t make me relax in the night time , i mean sometimes when you are so relax suddenly music tune goes up very bad and if you are relax that destroys your relaxation , if you are sleep that makes you awake

I like classical music. Well i like allot of music. From classical to jpop to kpop to Apop and music in the UK.
Allot of people frown their eyebrows at me in disgust when they find out i like a large range of world music.
No girl knows i like music from japan and classical.

If she truly likes you then she will look past the fact that you have differences in music. And that’s what matters most. Don’t try to impress other, just be yourself and you will be happier that way.And then the people that except it are ur true friends.

Everytime I see a demonstration of classical music it is shown on the piano, with the guitarist.. as a back up for the most.

However, I am a guitarist, and unless I become seriously rich, I do not see myself investing in a piano, when I can already play guitar.. i just don’t have the money.

So, can a guitarist really play classical music effectively, or is this a genre solely for painists ?

P.S. yes I know the piano has a wider range than a guitar.

I have a large amount of lines to learn in a short amount of time for a play I’m in.Is there a CD collection of classical music or environmental sounds that might enhance and accelerate my memorization? Or is this just a fallacy.I’d like to listen while reciting or reading.Which is more effective? Thanks

Mental prowess is not enhanced by listening to classical music. This is just a bunch of hype, to sell more Mozart CDs.

I am right around that time where my baby can start hearing things outside the womb (im 20 weeks) so I want to start listening to music thats beneficial to my baby but I really don’t like classical music, is there anything else that is proven to make babies more intelligent?

They did studies where they have found this to be a myth. Classical music doesn’t make your baby smarter. But, I think it is probably nice for them to listen to regardless. It is soothing and this could also soothe them after they are born. I would just listen to what you like. Sing aloud! Your baby will love hearing your voice now and after birth as well!
