What Kind of Music Degree Should I Take?

Hi, I am 17 and i am planning to pursue a music degree and I like Rock music. So what kind of music degree should i pursue?

Universities may offer many different types of music majors, including:

Music Performance
Music Education
Music Composition
Music Business/Management
Music Production and Engineering
Electronic Production and Design or Music Recording Technology

To name a few of the more common ones out there. What kind of music degree you pursue would generally directly correspond to what you’d want to do with it. If you’re desire was wanting to write music, you’d likely pursue composition. If you wanted to be a high school band/choir teacher, you’d likely pursue music education. And so on…

But when looking for a University for a music degree, make sure you do your research. Not every University will offer a wide variety of different music majors to choose from. Some may only offer a basic music degree, whereas others will offer several different types.

I had uploaded music from my computer to my Zune device but later had to wipe my hard drive effectively wiping the music on my computer. I still have the music on my Zune device and was wondering, how would you go about uploading music from my Zune device to my Zune player on my computer? If anybody can help it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

It’s called reverse sync and it’s awesome!

Follow the source link and it will show you an official tutorial. (Or the second link, if you’re better with following pics)

How do I move music off my itouch onto my main music folder thing in Itunes?

My dad cleaned out the laptop, all my music is in my ipod not on the computer. Nearly all my music is off of limewire, and i want the album art for the songs, but i need my music to go to the main Music folder in Itunes. How do i put that music there?

Many iPod users have asked this.
It won’t be a problem if you use AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer.
It automatically transfers your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes. Backup all your music and video in a couple of clicks. Really makes music and videos sharing pretty simple and enjoyable. Wish this can help and good luck.

I think its step by step guide is most helpful.

What if I remove a non-myspace music player, will it delete option to have a music module?

I think you can restore modules, but I’m exausted. This is my 3rd account and though I got a music player by Qloud it’s not working well and I want to delete it, which I know how, but what are the consequence? I want to make the myspace music player show on my profile after I delete this non-myspace Qloud music player. I could never get the myspace music player to show. Please help.

You can delete it, but you will have to go to music, then find songs to put in your "profile playlist". However, you can only have up to ten songs on a myspace playlist. Just saying. (:

What music player will sync with my electric piano keyboard?

Okay, so I connected my keyboard to my PC. It’s installed and my computer recognizes it as a device in my control panel. But, None of my music players will recognize that I have it plugged in. What music player will recognize I have it plugged in?

Extra info: The reason I am trying to do this is so I can record songs on my piano and have them on my PC so I can share them with people.

ok…get your mp3 or recorder and record the music, plug the recorder cable in to the computer, and there you go! No need to plug the entire keyboard to your computer, plus some recorders have better sound qualities…

What music is suppossed to help your brain work better while doing homework and studying for tests? any specific music?

Classical music. Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, etc. Modern classical would probably apply too: Holst, Bartok.

Mat Kearney - Nothing Left to Lose - Lyrics

Something’s in the air tonight .
The sky’s alive with a burning light.
You can mark my words something’s about to break.

And I found myself in a bitter fight,
While I’ve held your hand through the darkest night.
Don’t know where you’re coming from but you’re coming soon

To a kid from Oregon by way of California
all of this is more than I’ve ever known or seen

Come on and we’ll sing, like we were free
push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us
come on and we’ll try, one last time
I’m off of the floor one more time to find you

and here we go there’s nothing left to choose
and here we go there’s nothing left to lose

so I packed my car and I headed east
where i felt your fire and a sweet release
there’s a fire in these hills that’s coming down

and I don’t know much but i found you here
and I cannot wait another year
don’t know where you’re coming from but you’re coming soon

To a kid from Oregon by way of California
all of this is more than i’ve ever known or seen

Come on and we’ll sing, like we were free

push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us
come on and we’ll try, one last time
I’m off of the floor one more time to find you

and here we go there’s nothing left to choose
and here we go there’s nothing left to lose

I can still hear the trains out my window
from hobart street to here in nashville
I can still smell the pomegranates grow
And I don’t know how hard this wind will blow
or where we’ll go

come on and we’ll sing, like we were free
push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us
come on and we’ll try, one last time
I’m off of the floor one more time to find you

How do you put music from Dtunes into your Ipod touch music library?

February 122010

Posted in music | 2 Comments »

I downloaded songs on Dtunes and I was wondering how to put the music into my music library? I would like a step by step way to do it. Also I would sooner do it without a computer and putting it into my music library only using my iphone/ipod touch. If there is no way that is fine too.

Thanks so much!

God bless!

Sorry, no way, unless you want to SSH, which is really complicated for most people. If you still want to, please give me best answer and contact me at wompa0502@gmail.com

How do I put music in a external hard drive and put the music on a different computer?

February 52010

I noticed that having music on my laptop takes up a lot of space! So I bought an external hard drive to store music and pictures. Except when I bring my external hard drive to my boyfriends house and put my music into his computer and take it out it doesn’t stay on his computer for him to put on his iPod.

1) Make a new folder somewhere on the computer, for examples sake I’ll say the desktop.
2) Copy the songs you want to transfer over.
3) Paste the songs into that folder.

Then add the songs into iTunes by going to add iTunes and going to the toolbar and find something along the lines of add songs by folder and choose the folder that has all your newly added songs.
