Do I have split personalities or something? ?

OK I don’t have a disorder for starters!
I’ll just give you the sides of me which I can’t tell why its happening
1. Music taste is Bjork, Gothic, Orchestral Rock, Film Soundtracks,
Likes Arthouse movies, anything out of the ordinary, learning languages, barefoot most of the time even in public (sorry if that sounds gross), neopagan religion, Celtic inspired and creative writer.
But here’s the deal, I feel like I want to be part of the "in" group so sometimes when im about to go out, I will quickly change my mind and dress "normally" or wear shoes (lol) and pretend im the same and stuff. I even pretend to like the same music and funnily enough I even force myself to talk differently.
Why do I do this? Why is it sometimes I feel the need to be like this? Do I really want to be just part of society instead of feeling like an outcast or something? I just get so confused about what I want to be before entering University.
to be in part of the ”in crowd", you feel you need to conform to the standards of their music and clothing. you feel the need to be like this so that they will "accept" you- but what makes you think they won’t like you if you act yourself? (with the exeption of no shoes of course ![]()
at university, there will be plenty of people you can fit in with without being in pretence, so just keep it real- you’ll feel better when you get friends who like you for who you truly are.

No, it’s too little to call it "Jekyll and Hyde", you just want to "blend in". Maybe you are afraid you might be rejected?

not at all people cant always be pigeon holed into a particular type , noone wants to feel different than every else like they dont fit in so they tone down the eccentricities in public , anyway its always better to be true to yourself, at university you more than likely to find people with similar interests as you
