    its been there since forever basdically! it started as an ayral tradition picking up tunes by listening to others therefore generating different styles in different parts of the country. types of tunes: reels 4/4, jigs: 6/8, hornpipes:4/4, slip jig:9/8, march:2/4…instruments: fiddle(violin), uilleann pipes, tin whistle, trad. flute, accordion, concertina, harp, bodhran …. ask me for more if you need more
