When is the Miltown Malbay Traditional Irish Music Festival?

November 142009

July 2 – July 10:

Willie Clancy Festival (Miltown Malbay, County Clare)
Every year, in early July, the town of Miltown Malbay, located just 15 minutes from Doonbeg, becomes an international centre for traditional musicians. The celebration, which fills the town with the sounds of flutes, fiddles, accordions, concertinas, and uilleann pipes is held in memory of Miltown Malbay’s famous son, the late Willie Clancy.
